Am I eligible?

Make sure you:

  1. It should be 15 years and older.
  2. Must have an Australian residential address.
  3. Australian Passport, Australian driver's license, or international Passport
  4. If you're a new customer, you'll need to provide any two of the following: an Australian Passport (current or one that has expired within the last two years)
  5. Australian Visa in Foreign Passport.
  6. Australian Driver's License or Medicare Card.

How to Apply Online ?

Step 1:

Complete the online form: Provide us with your details, including your name (as it appears on your passport), your current address, email and phone number by filling out an online form.

Step 2:

Visit a branch: Once you get to Australia, visit your chosen branch to identify yourself and order your debit Mastercard. We'll just need to see your passport, student ID and confirm the countries where you're a tax resident.

Step 3:

Access your money: After your identification check, you can start banking straight away.

Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to open an ANZ bank account online from India. ANZ operates primarily in Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia-Pacific region, and as such, they have restrictions on who can open an account with them.
