How to get a Metro Green card ?

Step 1:

You can apply for a Green card online. OR

You can apply for a Green card in person by visiting a Metro Shop, a Metro depot or Metro agent. OR

By calling Customer Service Hotline on 13 22 01 and requesting that an application form be mailed to you. The form will need to be taken into one of Greencard agents for processing. All Green cards come with a $5 sign-up fee.

How to use a Metro Green card ?

When you board a Metro bus, simply tap your Greencard on the driver's ticket machine, and the cost of the trip will be deducted from your balance. You do not need to tap off. Your Greencard is set with information including your default trip and your concession details, so the correct fare is automatically deducted and you are debited the correct amount. When your travel credit is getting low, simply top it up with new credit.
