Upload the Required documents such as: A valid, full driver's license for your state or territory & Your passport or birth certificate & A driver profile photo.
Step 4:
If the vehicle you plan to drive with Uber meets your city's requirements, the next step is to arrange a vehicle inspection to confirm it is roadworthy.
Step 5:
After starting the signup process, you?ll be required to pass a background check. Processes for driver-partner background checks vary by city.
Step 6:
Once approved, your account will be activated, and you can log in to start driving.
Requirements to become an Uber driver in Australia !
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a smartphone, mobile number, and email address.
- Have a Visa that has the right to work in Australia or be an Australian citizen or Permanent resident.
- Hold a valid full driver's license in your state or territory.
- Have held a full driver's license in any Australian state or territory for at least 6 or 12 months (exceptions apply in certain states and territories).
- Be listed as an insured driver for the vehicle you plan to drive.
- Have an Australian Business Number (ABN) and be GST - registered.
- Hold a current Driver Accreditation.
- Have recently cleared a Vehicle inspection report.
